Coffee House of Wacousta (CHoW)

Coffee House of Wacousta takes place every month on the 2nd Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Chapel.  Come enjoy the wonderful acoustics there and listen to music and sing along.  Refreshments are served.  This is a community wide event and all are welcome.  For more information, contact Steve Vertalka or Sheila Dunnigan.

E.A.T. Soup And Salad Luncheons to benefit local hunger

EAT stands for Everyone Around the Table.  It is a group within our church which advocates and fundraises to help eliminate local hunger.  The main fundraiser is a monthly Soup and Bread luncheon.  It usually occurs on the 1st Sunday of each month following the Worship Service.  So far $4000 dollars has been contributed to the Grand Ledge Blessings in a Backpack and the Grand Ledge Food Bank.  For more information, talk to Kevin Beaune.

Serving Meals at City Rescue Mission

On the third Tuesday of each month at 6:15 p.m., volunteers from our church volunteer to serve dinner at the City Rescue Mission.  No cooking or dish washing is required.  Volunteers simply serve a meal that has already been cooked.  To volunteer, please call the church office at 626-6623.  We also collect needed food and clothing items for the Rescue Mission that are taken there on a monthly basis.

Children are always welcome in our worship service.  However, if parents prefer, children may attend our staffed nursery - designed for infants up to kindergarten during the worship service.

Sunday School Offerings for All Ages During the School Year

THRIVE- our new Sunday School  program is designed for all ages - from pre-school through adults and runs from 11 am to 11:45 am.  We believe every follower of Christ needs three things to thrive - Worship (which happens on Sunday morning), Discipleship (time spent in the Bible and in prayer) and Service) opportunites to serve the church and our neighbors).  This 45-minute weekly program fodr every age group is designed to grown in faith.  An open nursery is abailable for those who require childcare.  Age level classes with joyful and meaningful curriculum, community building and a way to connect your spiritual life to your daily life are the essence of THRIVE.
